Covid 19 – Business Update

All,

We write this business update following the Government announcement on Monday, 4th January and the third lockdown legally coming into force with effect from Wednesday, 6th January 2021.

The lockdown is as a result of the rapidly increasing cases of the coronavirus, driven by the more transmissible new strain, and the urgent need to restrict the spread of the virus, adding to similar lockdowns already in place or announced for Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.

We are delighted to confirm that these changes will have no direct impact on our business. The clear guidance from UK governments state that manufacturing and the construction sectors should continue to work and therefore operations across all our sites, remain fully open.

The health, safety and livelihoods of our employees and all those who we serve remains our number one priority. We would like to re-emphasise the importance of continually applying all the measures we have in place at the present time:
• Apply social distancing rules of 2m between individuals
• Wear a mask, in line with our EHS guidance, whenever you are on-site at our facilities
• Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds on a regular basis
• Comply with the Government order to stay at home wherever possible

For our manufacturing plants and distribution centres to function, some of our employees are present on site as these roles cannot be performed from home. Our clear direction is that these employees are the only people that should visit our site, with all other members of our teams working from home.

Our Customer Services and Sales teams continue to be on hand to support you with all your requirements via telephone and other digital channels. We are committed to maintaining our high levels of support and service to the Construction industry throughout these unprecedented times.

We are grateful for all the support and understanding received from you and others across the industry – and very much look forward to staying connected in coming weeks and months as we seek to make further positive progress in terms of managing the impact of the pandemic. We believe there is real cause for optimism, and welcome the certainty provided by the recent Brexit Trade Deal agreed with the EU.

From the team at Zentia (formerly Armstrong Ceiling Solutions), we wish you a happy, healthy and successful 2021.
