Edge Detail i The edge detail of a tile determines how much of the ceiling grid is exposed to people within a space. A board edge is square and flat, and exposes all of the grid. In contrast, a Finesse edge is cut so that the tile sits under the grid, completely concealing it.
  • Sound Attenuation i Sound attenuation is the control of sound transmission between adjacent rooms via a continuous suspended ceiling.
  • Sound Absorption (Alpha) i Alpha w stands for ‘weighted sound absorption coefficient’. It is a way to convert a wide range of sound absorption coefficient values into a single number from 0.0 to 1.0 using a curve-fitting process.
  • Sound Absorption (NRC) i Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) is a single number value from 0.0 to 1.0. It describes the average sound absorption performance of a material.
Recycled Content i The amount of recycled content in the product mix. It is an overall percentage and covers all materials.
Humidity Resistance i The temperature and relative humidity (RH) level at which the ceiling tile maintains technical performance and physical structure. The hotter and damper the environment, the higher RH resistance level required.
Cleanroom Classification i Zentia ceiling tiles clean room classifications can be used in clean rooms with ISO 5 or ISO 4 classification in accordance with ISO 14644-1:1999.
