Competition terms and conditions
These terms and conditions refer to the prize draw brought to you by Zentia Limited, whose registered office is at Kingsway South, Team Valley, Gateshead, NE11 0SP (“Zentia“, “we“, “us“, “our“).
The competition (the “Competition”) is open to customers including contractors, specifiers, distributors and installers who are over the age of 18. Employees of Zentia Limited, or any organisation professionally involved in this promotion, or their close relatives, are not eligible to enter. By taking part in the Competition, entrants are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
By submitting an entry to the Competition, you agree that the submission will not harm Zentia (or any of its subsidiaries), or its reputation, or lead to any unwanted or unfavourable publicity.
1. Entry Requirements
To enter, an entrant must enter online at https://www.zentia.com/en-gb/the-gridline-family/off-the-grid/. The closing date for entries will be 30th April 2024, after which entries will not be considered.
We will notify the winner(s) as soon as we can after the Competition has taken place. Zentia’s decision is final and binding in all respects on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. We do not accept responsibility for entries which fail to reach us before the closing date for any reason, are incomplete, illegible, or corrupted.
If Zentia has grounds to suspect any entrant or third party of cheating, deception or fraudulent conduct of any kind (including, without limitation, manipulating the Competition or any entry) Zentia reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to disqualify any entrant, entry or person it reasonably believes to be responsible for, or associated with, such activity.
2. Prize
The Competition will allow entrants to be in with a chance of winning one of three £1,000 worth of holiday vouchers (the “Prize”) from a UK holiday provider of our choice. The Prize will be subject to the holiday provider’s terms and conditions including all warranties, guarantees or other representations. In the event that you win the Prize, you acknowledge that you will have a direct contractual relationship with the holiday company and Zentia assumes no liability for any loss or damage that may arise as a result of your acceptance of the Prize.
The Prize excludes any costs incurred that are incidental to the redemption of the Prize including but not limited to passport applications, travel insurance, travel or spending money to redeem the Prize or personal expenses.
The winner is advised to check and is responsible for any tax implications which may arise as a result of accepting prize.
Zentia reserves the right to substitute the Prize (or any part of it) for a Prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control, otherwise the Prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be substituted, exchanged or transferred for any other gift, voucher or cash alternative.
If a winner chooses to cancel their Prize or suffers damage/loss to their Prize, or in the event that, following confirmation of acceptance of the Prize, the winner is unable to accept the Prize, the Prize will be withdrawn and/or no replacement Prize will be issued. The Prize cannot be reinstated if expired, lost or stolen. Zentia accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the selected Prize.
The winner agrees that we may publicise their details.
Unsuccessful participants will have no claim or action whatsoever against Zentia, its agents, employees or agencies as a result of participating in the Competition.
3. Our Liability to you
We shall not be liable to you if you suffer any loss or damage by entering the Competition (including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill that arises out of or in connection with your participation in the Competition) or from our refusal to allow you to take part in the Competition or our withdrawal of the Competition or any other failure or inability by you to participate in or benefit from the Competition for any reason. Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability in respect of personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
4. How we will use your entry
If you enter the Competition, we will use any relevant details submitted as part of your entry (“Entry”) that you provide for the purposes of administering the Competition and judging the entries. With your consent, we will also publish the winning Entry on our website as appropriate. We may need to share your details with our agents or contractors who help us to run our marketing and promotional activities. If you do not consent to such use of your details, please do not enter the prize draw. 5. General
Zentia reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and/or withdraw the Competition at any time without notice.
These terms and conditions (and all non-contractual claims and disputes) are governed by English law and by entering the Competition, you agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any such claims or disputes which arise out of or in connection with this Competition.
