What will you do:

• Ensure customer quality standards are always maintained,
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and equipment is in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Enforce and promote safety and housekeeping in your area of work and report safety and hazard faults.
• Employ continuous improvement techniques and share best practice with colleagues.
• Ensure cleaning schedules are rigidly adhered to and meet the agreed schedule.

What we need:

• A willingness to learn, with the drive to succeed.
• Can work both independently and as part of a team.

What we are looking for

We are looking for five apprentices in the following areas:

1. Pipe fitter apprentice
2. Fitter apprentice
3. Electrical control apprentice
4. Toolroom apprentice
5. Production operator apprentice

You will be punctual, reliable, and polite with an eagerness to learn, with strong attention to detail and a desire for a career in the manufacturing industry.

You will learn different skills, gain knowledge, and potentially learn new behaviours within a dedicated training academy with the support of our dedicated on-site trainers and on-the-job training with highly skilled mentors.

The Package

Salary:                             Competitive rate of salary with regular increasing increments throughout the course of the apprenticeship

Service bonus:               Lump sum of 2% of salary paid each December pro-rated in your first year, increasing to 4% after 10 years and 5% after 20 years – this is a contractual element of the reward package.

Bonus:                              5% based on achievement of company targets, paid annually each March.

Holidays:                          5 weeks holiday per annum plus bank holidays (incorporated into the shift pattern)

Pension:                          Contributory pension scheme – min 4% contribution (matched by Co. to 6% max), paid via salary sacrifice

Healthcare:                      Corporate Health Cash Plan (monthly payment by employee to achieve discounts on dental, optician costs etc).

Flexible Benefits:            Cycle to Work; Discount Vouchers, electric vehicle via Tusker which is administered though salary sacrifice.
